The planned investment in public transportation in the Oslo metropolitan area will be considerable in the upcoming decades. The investments shall ensure that Oslo meets the targets for public transportation and a more environmentally-friendly capital city.
Sporveien will modernise and digitalise the Oslo metro by installing and commissioning a completely new system for control and signalling of all metro traffic, based on CBTC technology (Communication Based Train Control). The new signalling system will facilitate a higher capacity performance and increased punctuality, as well as fulfil the prerequisites for other major infrastructure projects such as Fornebubanen and the new Majorstuen metro hub. The CBTC project has an investment budget of NOK 5,4 billion and is scheduled to be completed in 2027 (you can read more about the project here).
Today the project consists of over 50 employees. We are now looking for an experienced Project Planner with an ambition to play an integral role in developing the metro system of the future.

The position will reside organisationally in the Project Support group in the Construction (Utbygging) department in Sporveien, while the actual daily work will be performed in the project «New Signalling System CBTC».
